In just two short weeks, Lara, Gina and I will be leaving for our very last Making Things Happen tour. It’s bittersweet, y’all. I remember my very first experience with MTH in Watercolor in Florida where I met Lara and Gina for the first time. It was life changing. I’m so excited to meet so many of you soon and welcome you into the MTH family.
We’ll be visiting Austin, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Chicago (sold out!) and Atlanta. I’m sure there will be plenty of (Gina) suitcase explosions, (Lara) morning protien-strawberry-oatmeal concoctions and (me) runs to the airport gift shop for strawberry licorice. But there will be so much change that happens in those ten days. I can’t wait for you all, who are new and experiencing the intensive for the first time, to experience that. It’s a heart change. The best kind.
I’m so grateful for everything Making Things Happen has meant to me over the past few years. I’m so grateful for all of you and your friendship. If I’m ever having a hard day or a rough time (drowning in Simplified Planner boxes, up at 3am with a teething toddler or just plain tired from the go-go-go), I have to take myself back to a place of gratitude. We have so much to be thankful for. Life is short. Time to make things happen.
Join us in October - Chicago is now sold out and the other cities are nearing full. We can’t wait to meet you guys and welcome you to the over 550 men and women who have been to MTH and are cheering you on. And for those of you just visiting our Tumblr for the first time, go here to read more about the Making Things Happen movement.

Emily
